The 39th Sunflower Festival and Hokuto Pro Wrestling Hokuryu Tournament will be held at the Hokuryu Town Himawari Tourist Center from 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 24th, and spectators can enjoy the event for free.

Hokuto Pro Wrestling was founded in 2004 and is a local wrestling organization based in Hokkaido. Its representative is Crane Nakajo. With the motto of "clean and thrilling wrestling loved by the people of Hokkaido," the organization holds shows all over the prefecture and also works hard at social contribution activities such as visiting welfare facilities and holding wrestling classes for children, bringing the joy and energy of wrestling to a wide range of generations. With 40 matches per year, the organization has hosted a total of 600 tournaments. (Reference: Hokkaido Shimbun article)
