Himawari Restaurant 7th Anniversary Service Day! Enjoy heartfelt hospitality and delicious food

Thursday, May 15th marks the 7th anniversary of the opening of the restaurant "Himawari."

7th Anniversary Special Day

A commemorative event to express gratitude was held on the 14th (Wed), 15th (Thurs), and 16th (Fri).

On the 14th (Wednesday) we will be offering "Cheesecake" (limited quantities)!
On the 15th (Thurs) and 16th (Fri), all meal menu items are 700 yen (including a mini drink at lunchtime)!!

Summer limited edition soba

Starting Monday, May 12th, we will be serving our summer-only soba noodles: "Tororo Soba (with a soft-boiled egg)," "Doro Doro Soba (with okra, grated yam, and natto)," and "Mountain Vegetable Soba (hot and cold)"!

We visited right away on our anniversary, May 15th!

At the entrance, there was a beautiful flower arrangement to commemorate the 7th anniversary. It was a present from the children!

Doro Doro Soba & Oni Soba

We ordered the summer limited edition "Doro Doro Soba" and the regular menu item "Oni Soba"!

The "Doro Doro Soba" is topped with plenty of okra, grated yam, and natto, and then mixed with dashi soup!!! It's sticky and gooey and super delicious!

And the "Oni Yasai Soba" is topped with a devilish amount of mizuna, green onions, and cabbage!!! It's an astounding presentation!

What's more, the warm dipping sauce contains tender, delicious duck meat!

I was so surprised and grateful to have come across this amazing soba!

Sunflower pudding & coffee

I ordered a coffee as a complimentary mini drink!
Serve with "Sunflower Pudding" made with sunflower paste!
A special pudding made from sunflower seeds in a paste form, with the gentle flavor and aroma of sunflower nuts!
