This year's winter solstice is said to be a special day, the most auspicious year in decades, when energy will reach its peak!!!
The morning sun rising on this day is called ``Ichiyou Raifu'', and it is said to be the day when yin reaches its peak and turns towards yang, marking an upward turn in fortune.
"Pumpkin and red beans from Hokuryu Town" pressed sushi
We enjoyed pressed sushi made with pumpkin and red beans, which are said to be appropriate for this day.

The pumpkin and red beans are from Hokuryu Town!!!
Mix pickled plums and Nozawana dried baby sardines into the vinegared rice of your pressed sushi!
Steamed pumpkin is mashed and mixed with butter and spices to create a pumpkin salad, which is then laid out on top, with sliced cheese and seaweed sandwiched between the pieces, and pressed into sushi.
Topped with simmered pumpkin, red beans, and sweet chestnuts!
Serve with salad
Serve with baby leaf and cherry tomato salad.

On the day of the winter solstice, enjoy pressed sushi with nutritious pumpkin to improve your luck and red beans to ward off misfortune, and get full of energy!!!
At 6:21pm in the evening, I took a deep breath and calmed my mind.
I continue to pray from my heart that with this coming upward trend, Hokuryu Town, Japan, and the world will move towards peace, that Mother Earth will be filled with abundant greenery, and that all living things will be enveloped in and shine with the great vibrations of happiness.
