The "Smile Association" social gathering was held on Monday, October 7, from 11:00 a.m. at Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen. Twenty-three members of the Smile Association participated in the party and deepened their friendship in a congenial and smiling atmosphere.
The Hokuryu Town volunteer group "Smile Association" is supported by the Hokuryu Town Council of Social Welfare (Chairman: Takeshi Yamamoto) as a community symbiosis project.

Smile Party and Social Events
At the social gathering, Mr. Noboru Terauchi, a member of the council, gave a video presentation on this year's Hokuryu Town, two games were played by the Social Welfare Council staff, and everyone had a good time together over dinner.

This year marks the fifth year of the Smile Association. Thanks to everyone's support, we have been able to celebrate our fifth year.
There is nothing special about the Smile Club, but the only thing that we have is "your smile. I hope that you will be able to stay here today and keep your spirits up so that when you go home and look in the mirror, you will have a smile on your face, and I hope that you will continue to do well for as long as possible.
Today is a social event, and I hope that it will help you to heal from your past hardships.
Although it is a small banquet, we will have it ready until 1:30 p.m. We hope you will enjoy it and go home, even if it is a short one.
Today's schedule is for Mr. Terauchi to show a 20-minute "Hokuryu-cho Portal Video of This Year in Hokuryu-cho" to confirm the events from January to October of this year.
Afterwards, we have two games prepared by the CSW. We would like to enjoy the games together with you.

Name bingo game
- Bingo game with family name (hiragana): Bingo game using participants' names instead of numbers on regular bingo cards
- Prepare the names in hiragana on a piece of paper placed on the table. Draw lots for the prepared hiragana cards. If the hiragana drawn match the hiragana on the name card, a circle is placed on the card, and the person who gets all the circles is called Bingo!
- Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 bingo winners.
- A box of tissues was awarded to all remaining outliers!
Fishing Games
- A variety of handmade fish swim on the sheet. The cardboard fish have iron clips attached to them, and are fished with magnets attached to the end of fishing lines!

Dismissal with a hot spring bus ride
After the social gathering, everyone boarded a bus from Hokuryu Onsen and was dropped off in front of their respective homes.
The video reminds us of this year's events in Hokuryu Town. The fun games are sure to get your heart pumping, the prizes are sure to bring a smile to your face, and the delicious food is sure to please your taste buds!
