The first "Monthly Activity Report Meeting of Community Support Personnel and Regional Development Cooperation Volunteers" was held on June 17 (Mon.) from 15:00 to 16:00 at the Hokuryu Town Hall meeting room.
This is the first cross-sectional information exchange event in the 15 years since 2010, when the town of Hokuryu first commissioned the Regional Development Cooperation Corps members.
The meeting was attended by Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki, Vice Mayor Toshimasa Takahashi, and the Director of the Planning and Promotion Division of the town office, as well as two community supporters, three members of the Community Development Cooperation Team, and one volunteer.
It is expected that the monthly activity report meetings, which will be held on an ongoing basis each month, will facilitate active information exchange among supporters and corps members across the board and further expand the scope of activities.
