Hokuryu Town is a small town with a population of about 1,600, located in the northern part of the Sorachi region, slightly in the center of Hokkaido. It is the town of the northern dragon, whose symbol is the sunflower that shines like the sun.

The students who study at Shinryu Elementary School in such a small town have a total of 62 students in grades 1 through 6.

At Shinryu Elementary School in Hokuryu Town, children enjoy playing baseball with a glove given to them by Shohei Otani every day for 15 minutes during their lunch break after school lunch.

Baseball Time started in May this year!
Together with Mr. Goji Kitagawa, head teacher, and other faculty members. Students from grades 1 to 6 are free to join in, and with bats, balls, and gloves, they play batting and catching games freely and happily.

Baseball playtime is filled with smiles and happy cheers from the children!

With boundless love, gratitude and prayers for Shohei Ohtani's kindness for children and his wonderful baseball time that conveys the joy of baseball to children's hearts through his glove.
