On Wednesday, May 22, the Women's Club of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry installed flower pots on the roads. The purpose of this activity is to beautify the roads and revitalize the community. In Hokuryu Town, this activity has been carried out for more than 20 years.

Flower seedlings are provided by the Hokkaido Development Bureau's "Volunteer Support Program
Planting flower seedlings with all our hearts
Flower pots of pretty flowers were placed at more than 10 locations along the roads in front of public facilities and stores in the town.
Fertilizer and soil are placed in 43 prepared planters and 10 round wooden barrel pots, and the flower seedlings are carefully and gently planted with plenty of water.
The women's club of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who are both reliable and friendly, do the work of planting the flowers!
Amidst the congenial and pleasant conversation, work proceeded steadily and efficiently.

After the planting of flowers in planters was completed, the participants planted flowers in the flower bed in front of the entrance of the Hokuryu branch of the Kita Sorachi Shinkin Bank.
A colorful and very nice flower garden was created!
