A third generation pineapple that bore fruit at the home of a Hokuryu township resident!

Tuesday, August 4, 2020

At the home of 80-year-old Takao Yamada in Hokuryu Town, the third generation of pineapples bore beautiful fruit.

The first pineapple I bought at the store and enjoyed. The hefty end of that pineapple is water-inserted, and when the white roots grow, it is planted in the soil. Then, it will grow for three years until it bears fruit.

After tasting the second generation pineapple, the heft was water-inserted again. Three years later, the third generation ripened until it was ready to eat. It is a precious pineapple!

We wish to express our endless love, gratitude and smiles to the happy pineapples that are raised with love and care.

Isn't it similar to "Okinawan Snack Pineapple" that you can tear off and eat by hand?

Perhaps "Snack Pineapple?"
Perhaps "Snack Pineapple?"
