The World Junior B Curling Championships were held in Lohja, Finland, and Rinki Shimizu, a Hokuryu Town Board of Education employee, competed in the championships as a member of the Sapporo International University team.

She left Japan for Finland on Friday, December 6, and returned to Japan on Friday, December 20. We took time out of our busy schedule to talk to Ms. Riki Shimizu about curling.
