Currently, manholes with local designs are attracting attention and becoming a nationwide topic.
I was surprised at the wide variety of designs! It seems that character designs are drawn and manhole cards also exist.
Manhole in Hokuryu Town
There are four main types of manhole cover designs we found within the town of Hokuryu!
This circular manhole features a cute sunflower blooming girl, the Hokuryu Town emblem, the Hokkaido emblem around the former main building of the Hokkaido Government Office, and the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation mark.
During your walk, why don't you turn your viewpoint to the manhole at your feet and enjoy the encounter with the manhole cover?
