Seven companies of the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association support restaurants in town by ordering lunch boxes!

In an effort to support restaurants in the town affected by the spread of the new coronavirus, seven companies of the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association joined forces to order lunch boxes from restaurants in the town.

Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association supports the event by taking lunch at a restaurant in town.

The initiative began in late March, when a meeting of the board of directors of seven Hokuryu-cho construction companies discussed the idea of supporting the town's restaurants by ordering lunch boxes for all employees. Each company then freely ordered a catered lunch box.

And since March, lunches for regular board members' meetings have been held at various restaurants. So far, lunches for the regular board members' meetings have been held at "Oshokuji Mukohi" and "Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen"; on Wednesday, May 13, the meeting was held at "Ajigokoro Yahachi".

Catering services are available at three restaurants in Hokuryu-cho: Oshokuji Mukohi, Ajijidokoro Hachihachi, and Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen, as well as at Seicomart Hekisui.

The Hokuryu-cho Construction Industry Association's order for catered lunches is coordinated by the Hokuryu-cho Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is in charge of the association's secretariat.

Makoto Ota, an advisor of the Hokuryu Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "Restaurants are the most in need at this time of year. I would like to thank the restaurants in town that have been helping us and always supporting us, and we will do our best to support what we can all do together".
