The movie "Mr. Haruhara's Song," starring Chika Araki, the granddaughter of Takao and Chieko Yamada, a Hokuryu-cho resident and their husband, will be shown at Hotel Miurakaen (Takikawa City) on Saturday, August 27, at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

This film won the Grand Prix in the International Competition, the Best Actor Award (starring Chika Araki), and the Audience Award at the 32nd Marseille International Film Festival (France).
