Hokuryu Town was introduced as a representative of the Sorachi region in the Rishiri Town Board of Education's supplementary elementary school social studies reader for third and fourth graders, "Rishiri" (A4 color, 74 pages).
We would like to introduce "The Extensive Rice Fields of Hokuryu Town" which was featured in "Chapter 7: Our Roads and Urban Development - [2. Local People's Lives and Urban Development] (2) Kamikawa District (Asahikawa City) and Sorachi District (Hokuryu Town)." The photograph was taken using the Hokuryu Town Portal.
