This is to inform you of the declaration of a state of emergency from the Hokuryu Town New Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Headquarters.

A new type of coronavirus emergency has been declared by Hokkaido.
Please refrain from unnecessary outings on the weekend of February 29 (Sat.) and March 1 (Sun.).

We also ask that you take steps to prevent infections by practicing good cough etiquette and diligently washing your hands.

The Hokuryu Town New Coronavirus Task Force announces the cancellation and postponement of various meetings and other events due to measures to prevent new coronavirus infection.

Hokuryu Town established the New Coronavirus Task Force on February 25 (Tuesday) to take measures to prevent new coronavirus infection.

As a result of discussions by the task force, we would like to inform you that from Thursday, February 27 to Wednesday, March 18, meetings and events organized by the town will be reduced or postponed.

Town residents are asked to refrain from going out when they have cold symptoms or feel unwell in order to prevent infectious diseases.
