The 35th Sunflower Festival came to a close on Sunday, August 22, with all programs cancelled. At Sunflower Village, sunflowers were finished blooming and most of the fields were plowed.
The sunflowers blooming on the hill on the west side of the park are putting out their last ounce of power and keeping the flame of life burning as best they can until they return to Mother Earth.
Thank you for the wonderful inspiration this summer!
We look forward to seeing you again next summer and seeing all the wonderful sunflowers!
