The JA Kitasorachi Hokuryu Branch Office has informed us of the "Melon and Watermelon Festival" for the year 2021.
For this year 2021, the Sunflower Melon Direct Sales will be held on August 7 (Sat) from 08:30 to noon, and the Sunflower Watermelon Direct Sales will be held on August 14 (Sat) from 08:30 to noon.
This year, we will also offer nationwide delivery of melons on August 7 and watermelons on August 14.

The "Melon and Watermelon Festival" has been held on August 14 every year, but last year in 2020, due to Corona, it was called a "direct sales event" instead of a "festival".
However, due to the harvest and shipment of Sunflower Melon, it was decided that from next year 2022, "Sunflower Melon and Sunflower Watermelon" will be sold directly on a different date.
Originally, this year 2021 was scheduled to be the last year for the simultaneous holding of the Sunflower Melon and Sunflower Watermelon.
Unfortunately, however, a series of fine weather has accelerated the growth of melons in Hokuryu-cho, and we were unable to prepare melons for shipment on August 14 (Saturday).
Sunflower melon direct sales on Saturday, August 7, 08:30 - noon; Sunflower watermelon direct sales on Saturday, August 14, 08:30 - noon.
JA Kitasorachi Hokuryu Branch Office has decided to hold direct sales of sunflower melons on August 7 (Sat) and sunflower watermelons on August 14 (Sat) as in the past.
