Hokuryu Town in Kita Sorachi, Hokkaido, is a small town with a population of approximately 1,600 people who cherish the idea that "food is life" and provide safe and secure food.
The Hokuryu Town Portal has been run by a husband and wife team for 15 years. It is a website that conveys the excitement of the "spirit of harmony" and "compassion" that permeates Hokuryu Town.

Monday, June 16, 2025 The first shipment of Hokuryu Town's specialty "Sunflower Watermelon" was made on Wednesday, June 11, and was sent to markets in Sapporo and Asahikawa.
