Today, July 20 (Sat.) at 10:00 a.m., the 38th Hokuryu-cho Sunflower Festival and the "Hokuryu-cho Sunflower Village" opened for a month until August 18 (Sun.). 300,000 tourists visiting during the month will receive energy and power from the sunflowers in full bloom. We will deliver energy and power from the sunflowers in full bloom to about 300,000 visitors during the month.
At the Himawari Tourist Center, nine stores stand side by side, selling safe and secure gourmet foods and handmade crafts and other items from Hokuryu Town! We hope you will take a moment to feel Hokuryu Town in your hands, and feel and share the "spirit of harmony and compassion" of the Hokuryu Town people.

Hokkaido University of Information Sciences students and internship activities
Students from Hokkaido University of Information Science and Technology are currently working at Sunflower Village in Hokuryu Town as interns.
In addition to filming for the projection mapping, the students will conduct a questionnaire survey on "electronic payment" among tourists. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the students will make a proposal for electronic payment to the town of Hokuryu.
