The 34th Yukinko Festival was held at the special venue in front of the Hokuryu Town Community Center from 1pm on Tuesday, February 23rd. There were lots of fun events, including a snow slide, a treasure hunt, and a banana board pulled by snowmobile!
Before the start, the sun was smiling brightly and the weather was just right, but midway through, a strong wind and a blizzard appeared! Despite the blizzard, the children were full of energy and had a great time playing in the snow, full of smiles.

At the reception, participants lined up, had their temperature taken, and were given masks. Approximately 70 children and their families participated.

The snow mountain slide and the mysterious colorful snowman were handmade by members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division.

The event began with an opening speech from Shinichi Sasaki, head of the Hokuryu Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division! "Please have fun and play with energy!"
The children were completely absorbed in the fun snow games and thoroughly enjoyed winter sports!

Plastic balls containing number cards were scattered across the pure white snow field!
At the starting signal, head for the ball in the snow and GO!
He ran through the fresh snow and caught the ball with great force!!!

The children were delighted with the sweets they received as gifts!!!

Banana boat pulled by snowmobile
The reliable members of HMK (Hekisui Mobile Association) are piloting the snowmobiles with great energy.
The children were thrilled by the thrilling speed of the snowmobiles as they raced around the school grounds of Shinryu Elementary School, making a roaring noise as they blew through the snowy fields in a blizzard!!!

A winter sport where you can forget the cold and have fun riding a snowmobile through a snowstorm.
Smiles and cheers echo across the snowy fields, and we send our boundless love, gratitude, and prayers to the Yukinko Festival, a wintertime event where the whole family can have fun to the fullest...
