On Sunday, October 26th, as the scent of autumn deepened, the Soba Making Exchange Center (formerly Iwamura Community Center) was filled with a warm and lively atmosphere from the morning. The Hokuryu Town soba enthusiasts' circle, "Soba Shokuraku Club Hokuryu (Chairman: Nakamura Shoichi)," held the "New Soba Enjoyment Party 2025."
The refreshing aroma of freshly made soba noodles fills the air as townspeople who have been eagerly awaiting this day gather at the venue.
The "three-part" technique is filled with sincerity
"Freshly ground," "freshly made," and "freshly boiled" "Santate Fresh Soba" has the perfect combination of flavor, firmness, and a smooth texture that goes down smoothly!
Warm handiwork by artisans
The members of the Hokuryu Soba Shokugaku Club will be showing off their skills for this day. They will be using Kitawase buckwheat flour, which is grown lovingly by the local people of Hokuryu.
"We want you to enjoy delicious new soba in the best condition," and the handiwork that is infused with this sincerity is truly artisanal. The spirit of Hokuryu Town lies in this careful "handiwork," which is the polar opposite of efficiency and speed.
A special treat only available on this day
"Freshly made" and "freshly boiled" and are brought to you piping hot with steam.
Its rich flavor, firm texture, and exceptionally smooth texture make it a treat that can only be enjoyed in this season and in this place.
