This year's Setsubun falls on Sunday, February 2nd. And this year's lucky direction is "Southwest"!
Setsubun is the day before the beginning of spring, the last day of winter, and is a day to ward off evil spirits and welcome good fortune into the new season.
We enjoyed three types of ehomaki and thin rolls from Restaurant Himawari, as well as ehomaki from the Asano family, and had a delicious and blessed Setsubun!
