On Friday, June 7th, the staff of Hokuryu Town Hall joined the "Isshinkai" social club, which is made up of employees. As part of the club's environmental beautification activities, the town hall staff carried out a tree planting activity.

On that day, participants will plant sunflower seedlings and other flower seedlings along Route 275.
Starting at 5:30 pm, when work hours end, all staff members come out together wearing work gloves and carrying large shovels to get to work.
Sunflower seedlings will be planted in several flower beds along the sidewalk. These sunflowers bloom continuously from early summer to late autumn, with 100 flowers. They are small, cute sunflowers that can produce over 1,000 flowers in one season.
The other flower seedlings were provided by the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau's Volunteer Support Program.
Flower seedlings such as sunflowers were prepared next to the flower beds before the activity.

Carefully and lovingly...
Bring a bamboo broom too...

They lined up together happily and were full of energy!
Let's all work together to be efficient...
With one heart and sincerity!
Imagine the days when cute sunflowers bloom in full bloom...
With boundless love, gratitude, and prayers, we thank the Hokuryu town officials for their wonderful work in making the town's symbolic flower, the sunflower, bloom all over the town and make the town sparkle in sunflower colors!!!
