The words written in black letters on the yellow sign read, "Sunflowers bloom beautifully and powerfully facing the midsummer sun," and are the words of Akira Tanimoto, a resident of Hokuryu Town.
Ryoji Kikura, a resident of Itaya public housing, commissioned a sign shop in Fukagawa City to install the sign.
