This is a soba-making club that has been certified by Zenmenkyo (National Council for Promoting Regional Exchange of Noodle Culture), and is made up of Chairman Nakamura Shoichi, a sixth-dan soba maker, Ms. Kawabe Mitsue, a fifth-dan maker, and many other members with ranks (eight fourth-dan, eight third-dan, seven second-dan, several first-dan, etc.), who practice every month and enjoy making soba noodles.
Hokuryu soba masters will be showing off their skills to allow many residents to taste the deliciousness of this year's new soba, "Kitawase," produced in Hokuryu.
