On Saturday, June 20th at 9:00 AM, Minoritch Hokuryu, a farm and livestock direct sales store in Hokuryu Town (Manager: Mikio Hara), will hold its grand opening this year!

To commemorate the opening, the Hokuryu Taiko group performed two songs: "Harvest Celebration Taiko" and "River Banquet."

"'Senrai no En' (Feast of the River's Rising) is a song composed by Kimihiko Matsumura, the representative of the Matsumura Group of Japanese Taiko, for the Sorachi Taiko group. 'Rai' refers to the sounds of nature, flutes, and resonance.
"This song was composed with the image of the sounds of the various rivers of Sorachi overlapping and resonating with each other, and of the connections between people and the friendly and lively Sorachi city," said Taiko drummer Itagaki Chihiro.

"This year, our shippers have once again worked together to start sowing seeds before the snow fell and are growing the vegetables well. Today marks the grand opening of the direct sales store, Minoritch Hokuryu, and we hope that everyone will enjoy it.
So, the 2020 fiscal year will be the grand opening of Minoritch Hokuryu!

Inside the store, you'll find a wide variety of vegetables picked that morning, including Hokuryu Town's specialties, "Sunflower Watermelon" and "Sunflower Melon," as well as princess bamboo, thinned melon, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, ice plant, radish, turnip, carrot, potato (Inca's Awakening), onion, zucchini, cucumber, tomato, strawberry, and more!!!
