We will report on the content that was broadcast on Hokuryu Town's disaster prevention radio (broadcast to every household and speaker in Hokuryu Town) on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020 at 7:15pm and Wednesday, May 6th at 6:30am last year.

- 1.2 The closure period of the Wa Community Support Center and Hekisui Community Support Center has been extended for the time being.
- 1.3 Chuo Bus will operate on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday schedules for the time being.
- 2 Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen shortens opening hours and closes on weekends
- 3 Temporary school closures for elementary and junior high schools extended until May 31st (Sunday)

Town-sponsored meetings will continue to be canceled or postponed for the time being.
In response to the national state of emergency declaration, town-sponsored meetings and events that were scheduled to run until Wednesday, May 6th will continue to be canceled or postponed until further notice.
The community center, improvement center (gymnasium), library, local history museum, Hekisui Living Center, Miba Beef Training Center, processing center Food and Agriculture Workshop Palm, as well as the tourist center, park golf course, Konpira Park, and Yew Forest will also be closed for the time being.
We ask all residents to please cancel or postpone, for the time being, any close-contact gatherings that increase the risk of spreading COVID-19.
The closure period of the Wa Community Support Center and Hekisui Community Support Center has been extended for the time being.
The Town Hall Resident Affairs Division would like to inform you that the Wa Community Support Center and the Hekisui Community Support Center will be suspending their activities.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the closure period of both centers, which was originally scheduled to end on Wednesday, May 6th, will be extended for the time being.
Volunteer activities and the Dandelion Project will also be suspended for the time being.
Chuo Bus will operate on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday schedules for the time being.
The Town Hall Planning and Promotion Division will inform you about the operating hours of the Chuo Bus.
Due to requests to refrain from going out due to the impact of the spread of COVID-19, Hokkaido Chuo Bus and Sorachi Chuo Bus will continue to operate the Takikawa-Hokuryu Line and Fukagawa-Hokuryu Line on Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday schedules from Thursday, May 7th for the time being. We ask for the understanding and cooperation of all residents.
Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen shortens opening hours and closes on weekends
The Hokuryu Promotion Corporation would like to inform you about the shortened opening hours of Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen.
Thank you for your continued patronage of Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, starting Thursday, May 7th, Hokuryu Onsen and the shop at Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen will be open until 8:00 PM, and the restaurant will be open until 7:30 PM.
We would also like to inform you that the entire facility will be closed every Saturday and Sunday.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our residents and appreciate your understanding.
Temporary school closures for elementary and junior high schools extended until May 31st (Sunday)
The Board of Education announces the extension of the temporary school closures for elementary and junior high schools.
In response to a request from the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will be extending the temporary closure of elementary and junior high schools until Sunday, May 31st.
Please note that Thursday, May 7th and Friday, May 8th will be school days for both elementary and junior high schools, so please be careful not to make a mistake.
The school will inform you of future school attendance dates at a later date.
