Hokuryu Sunflower Melon First Auction 2024

The first auction took place at Kyokuichi Co., Ltd. Fruit and Vegetable Auction (Asahikawa City) from 6:45 on Monday, June 17th, the day after the first shipment of Hokuryu melons.

Ahead of the first auction, Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki gives a speech!
"This year, we have come to deliver some very sweet sunflower melons. We hope you will enjoy them!" said Mayor Sasaki.
"I am Nagai Minoru, the representative director of the Kitaryū district of JA Kitasorachi. This year's melons are extremely sweet, with a sugar content of over 17 degrees. We will be able to deliver delicious melons to you again this year, so we hope you will continue to support us."
