Chishima cherry blossoms bloom low and heavy in a local resident's garden.
The Chishima cherry tree, which is said to have been introduced from Kunashiri Island, is a short cherry tree that branches out from the base and grows horizontally.
With heartfelt gratitude, I witnessed the beautiful Chishima cherry blossoms blooming gracefully with their tiny, pale pink, almost white petals, exuding a sweet fragrance and seeming to be absorbed into the blue sky...
