Seven companies from the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association support local restaurants by ordering lunch boxes!

In an effort to support local restaurants that have been affected by the spread of COVID-19, seven companies from the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association have joined forces to order lunch boxes from restaurants in the town.

The Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association supported the event by offering lunch at a local restaurant.

The initiative began in late March at a regular meeting of executives from seven construction companies in Hokuryu Town, where a lively discussion arose about ordering lunch boxes together to support local restaurants. After that, each company freely ordered catered lunches.

Starting in March, lunch for regular executive meetings will be held at various restaurants. Until now, lunch for regular executive meetings has been held at "Oshokudokoro Himawari" and "Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen." On Wednesday, May 13th, the meeting was held at "Ajidokoro Yahachi."

The luxurious catered bento box includes a variety of luxurious side dishes, including seasonal asparagus wrapped in bacon.

A separate platter of seasonal sweet shrimp, scallops, and other sashimi is served with miso soup!

We are grateful to the restaurants in the town and are doing our best to support them.

In Hokuryu Town, bento delivery is available at three restaurants: Himawari Restaurant, Hachiya Aji Restaurant, and Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen, as well as Seico Mart Hekisui.

Orders for catered lunches for the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association are coordinated by the Hokuryu Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which serves as the association's secretariat.

Makoto Ota, an instructor at the Hokuryu Town Chamber of Commerce, said, "Restaurants are the ones struggling the most at this time. We would like to thank the restaurants in our town for their support and kindness, and we would like to support them to the best of our ability."
