Kurosengoku Business Cooperative Association's activities contribute to revitalizing the local economy
Kurosengoku Business Cooperative was founded in 2005 and is now in its 17th year. Currently, 52 farms across Hokkaido are cultivating rice.
In addition to supplying major manufacturers of natto and other products, we also process our own products (washing, drying, detecting foreign objects using color sorting machines, packaging, etc.) such as kinako (roasted soybean flour) and Kurosengokudon (deep-fried rice cakes), and sell them at retail, ensuring safe and secure quality.
Sales are expanding both within and outside Hokkaido, and overseas. They also actively participate in various events around the country, placing importance on interacting with consumers. For several years, they have exhibited at supermarkets in Taiwan, and in recent years, they have expanded sales to the US market through sites such as Amazon.
Furthermore, in response to the growing health consciousness, we have been working on developing safe and secure products, and have begun developing and selling "Kurosengoku Soy Meat."
The Kurosengoku Business Cooperative's development to date has been highly praised for its sound management, proactive efforts to develop new processed products, and many dedicated activities under the strong leadership of Representative Director Yukio Takada, which have made significant contributions to revitalizing the local economy.
