This is an announcement from the Hokuryu Town COVID-19 Countermeasures Headquarters.

In response to Hokkaido's state of emergency declaration, Hokuryu Town has decided to scale down or postpone town-sponsored meetings and events until Thursday, March 19th.

In addition, the community center, rural environment improvement center (gymnasium), library, local history museum, Hekisui Living Center, Miba Beef Training Center, town-run ski resort, processing center Food and Agriculture Workshop Palm, and tourist center will be closed until Thursday, March 19th.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our residents, and we ask for your continued cooperation in preventing the spread of infection.

Yawara Nursery School would like to inform you about the opening of Yawara Nursery School.

Yawara Nursery School, which has been closed for a long time, will reopen on Thursday, March 5th. On Thursday, March 5th, class photos will be taken and extended childcare hours will also be held.

From Friday, March 6th, in order to prevent the spread of infection, extended childcare and Saturday holiday childcare will be suspended, and childcare hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For the time being, we will only accept families who require childcare on a daily basis due to the parents' work situation, and if childcare is possible at home, we ask that you refrain from sending your child to school as much as possible and cooperate with childcare at home.
