On Wednesday, August 18th, from 2:00 p.m., a "Mini Summer Festival" was held in the Social Welfare Council's main hall as part of the "Cosmos Club Activities" run by the Hokuryu Town Social Welfare Association (Chairman: Yamamoto Tsuyoshi).

This "Mini Summer Festival" event is being held for the first time this year.
Handmade by a helper
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and requests to refrain from going out, it's difficult to exercise outdoors or go for your usual walks.
The "Mini Summer Festival" is a handmade project that was thought up by the helpers, led by caregiver Megumi Murai, with the aim of giving people a taste of the summer festival and fair atmosphere.
The festival-style menu included a ping pong ball toss, a shooting gallery, goldfish scooping, playing with miniature cars, and ring toss, and the food stalls offered homemade cotton candy.

Ping Pong Cup In Game
This is a game where you bounce a ping-pong ball on a table and place it into a box of paper cubes labeled with numbers.
At first, I couldn't get the feel for bouncing the ping pong ball, but after trying a few times, I was able to successfully hit it into the cup!!!
Shooting gallery
Aim your target pistol at the candy boxes lined up on a handmade cardboard shooting range and shoot!
Everyone, take aim at the box of sweets and get serious!
Try again and again until you win!!!
Shoot it down and get the candy!!!
Each child will take home their sweets in a personalized plastic bag!
Goldfish scooping
A handmade origami goldfish is scooped up with a fan. A cute paper goldfish made by a helper.
How many can you scoop onto the paper plate within the allotted time?
Finally, count the number of goldfish you have scooped and announce it!
Miniature car play
A game where you move miniature cars of various shapes lined up on a table.
Pulling a miniature car and letting go may seem simple, but it doesn't move the way you want it to?
Everyone, try and error until you get the hang of it!
The miniature cars stop moving forward, suddenly start moving, spin around, or go in unexpected directions...
The quirky movements of the miniature cars had everyone laughing!
Ring toss
Sit on a chair and throw the rings at the numbered targets. Add up the numbers on the rings to get your score.
Everyone, throw the balls rhythmically to score points!!!
Yay, I got in!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the handmade games created with love by the helpers, and fully enjoyed the summer festival atmosphere!!!
It was a happy time, with everyone's happy smiles and cheerful laughter echoing throughout the hall!
