Monday, June 9, 2025: The Hokuryu Town Board of Education kicked off its 2025 morning radio calisthenics program, running for 89 days from Monday, June 9 to Friday, September 5. The first day was blessed with clear skies, and participants enjoyed a refreshing, full-body workout.

The 39th Sunflower Festival and Hokuto Pro Wrestling Hokuryu Tournament will be held at the Hokuryu Town Himawari Tourist Center from 5:30 PM on Monday, June 9th, 2025 and Thursday, July 24th, 2025. Free spectators are welcome. Hokuto Pro Wrestling was founded in 2004.
On Monday, June 9, 2025, Kodansha will launch "MANGA MANNERS" at JR Central stations (Tokyo, Shinagawa, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, etc.). Characters from 17 popular manga series around the world will be introducing etiquette for everyday life and public transportation in Japan.
