April 2, 2024 (Tuesday) April 1, 2024, marks the beginning of the new fiscal year (Reiwa 6). Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki toured Hokuryu Town. The valuable Edaibetsu Dam, where meltwater irrigates the town’s fields, extends across the Mitani area and reaches the town border with Mashike Town.
