On Friday, January 14, 2022, the Hokkaido Electric Power Company (HEPCO) website announced that Hokkaido Electric Power Company and Hokkaido Electric Power Network have signed basic agreements with the towns of Hokuryu and Horonobe on mutual cooperation in the event of a large-scale disaster.
