Third graders at Shinryu Elementary School learn about growing cherry blossoms in 2025 - expressing gratitude to the great cherry blossom trees of Hokuryu Town that grow healthy together!
On Monday, June 30, 2025, third-graders from Shinryu Elementary School participated in the 10th annual "Cherry Blossom Cultivation Hands-on Learning" program. Under the guidance of the Kita Sorachi Forestry Association, the students experienced harvesting seeds from cherry blossoms and sowing them in the fields. These cherry blossoms will be planted by the students who will graduate in three years.
