Hekisui Chomeikai's New Year's Party 2026, a celebration of harmony and the future
On January 12, 2026 (a national holiday), while the outside was a world of silver, a room at Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen was filled with warm air like the spring sunshine, and the Hekisui Neighborhood Association Senior Citizens Club, "Hekisui Chomei-kai," held its New Year's party.
The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by the warm smiles of everyone, as if they were holding hands in joy at being reunited after a long time.

2026: A major shift in values
Terauchi Noboru's lecture began with a video entitled "The Great Transformation in 2026 (Rebooting the Global OS)." Projected on the screen was a vision of the great changes the world will undergo in the future: from division to harmony, from domination to independence.

As Mr. Asano mentioned earlier, there has been little snow this New Year. The first job of the neighborhood association president is usually to remove the snow from the community center, but as of yesterday, most of it had fallen.
I'm thinking that maybe I won't have to remove the snow from the roof this year. Also, since I'm also an official at the shrine, all the snow has been removed from the Kagura Hall and the main shrine building, so I'm realizing that there's no need to "remove the snow."
This year is the year of the horse, so many things may happen, but I hope that it will be a healthy and peaceful year.
