A single tree stands resolutely in the indigo-white snowy field...
Even when the snow is falling heavily and the world around is gray and hazy and closed off, it is a scene that makes you feel as if you are patiently enduring, picturing in your mind the great light that surely exists beyond, and continuing to believe.
