August 15th (Friday) Sunflower Village Flowering Status: Thank you for the excitement! The highlights of the final stage and the brilliance of sunflower life
The 39th Hokuryu Town Sunflower Festival 2025, shining brightly under the summer sun, is now down to just three days until its final day on Monday, August 18. The sunflower village is now transforming from its bustling summer vibe into a moving landscape that quietly speaks of the preciousness of life.
Sunflowers fulfilling their destiny
In the jumbo maze in the main field, sunflowers are quietly bowing their heads. This is not because they have withered, but because they are carrying the weight of the many seeds they will need to pass on life to the next generation. Their humble appearance, as if fulfilling their divine mission and bearing the weight of that weight, and struggling to survive, is so moving that it moves you to tears.
It is filled with sacred moments that make you want to shout out loud, "Himawari, thank you so much for all the moving experiences!"

Sunflower Village shows different faces depending on the location. Be sure to check out where you can see sunflowers during the last three days.
- Full bloom end:Sunflower maze, jumbo maze, and the field in front of the hill
- Best time to see:Farm field at the back of the hill
- Partial bloom:A field adjacent to the park golf course
With three days left, the field next to the park golf course will gradually reach full bloom. Please come and support the sunflowers as they take over the final baton!
