Lively monthly activity report meeting held
The Hokuryu Town monthly activity report meeting was held in the town hall reception room from 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23rd. A total of 12 people, including four village supporters and eight community revitalization volunteers, reported on their activities in June.
This monthly report meeting has been held every month since April 2024, following the inauguration of Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki. It is a valuable opportunity for Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki, Deputy Mayor Masaaki Okuda, Town Future Strategy Division Chief Yayoi Kawamoto, Division Counselor Chiaki Mori, as well as village supporters and local revitalization cooperation team members who are expected to contribute to the town's future, to gather together to share activities and exchange opinions.
Wide-ranging activity reports and future prospects
The report session covered a wide range of topics, including the following, and saw a lively exchange of opinions.
- Introducing the new members
- Operational status of Hokuryu Town Portal Site
- Hokuryu Town Agricultural and Livestock Direct Sales Store Minoritch's Customer Attraction and Sales Expansion Strategies
- Planning and implementation of agricultural experiences and various events
- Hokuryu Town Sunflower Tourism Association SNS operation status
- Proposing new projects for regional development
- Agricultural production and shipping status
- Future organizational management policy
Unresolved issues and risks were shared, and specific action items for future activities were reported, making for a very productive session.

Upon hearing the report, Mayor Sasaki's eyes lit up as he cheered on the team members.
"Everyone, please don't hesitate to say anything.
I hope that you will always keep in your hearts the great desire to "do something for the town." I look forward to your activities so that this town can continue to shine, even if just a little. Thank you for your support.
I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone's activities will develop and how this town will change in the future. There will be many challenges, but the various changes are very interesting and I'm really looking forward to it!
