The Hokkaido Shimbun Digital website, operated by the Hokkaido Shimbun Press (Sapporo City), has published an article (dated April 1st) entitled "Eight organizations receive the Kita Sorachi Shinkin Bank JBC Angels Award for Hometown Fund," which we would like to introduce to you.

The article states, "The grand prize went to the joint youth baseball team, Kita Sorachi JBC Angels, who also won the Culture Category Award. The team consists of elementary school students from Imobeushi, Fukagawa, Hokuryu, and Uryu, and in just their fourth year since being founded, they made their first appearance in the prefectural tournament." It also states, "▽Hometown Revitalization Category Award: Hokuryu Kendama Club (Hokuryu)."
