The brilliance of youth is brought back to life! With gratitude for the precious memories of youth, "On the Hill Where Sunflowers Bloom"!

Two days ago, I suddenly received a touching message in the comments of my YouTube video "On the Hill Where Sunflowers Bloom (A song written by the graduates of Hokuryu Junior High School in 2013)."

It's sad. I sometimes come here to listen when I'm going through something bad or difficult.
We may never be able to live through this time, era, or youth again, but it is a memory that will remain with us forever.

When you become a working adult, you often get hurt unreasonably, and there is no one to help you make a clear decision like when you were a student. But you have no choice but to move forward. You can't go back, and you can't stop.

Let's try to survive tomorrow as well, in this unreasonable world.
And then come back to listen to this song again.

The YouTube video is an original song titled "Sunflowers Blooming on the Hill" that was uploaded 10 years ago (2014). At the time, the 25 graduating students of Hokuryu Junior High School in 2013 created the song under the guidance of music teacher Midori Kasajima (24 years old).

"Whenever something painful or sad happens, I come to listen to this song...
The message is something like, "In this hopeless, unreasonable world, let's remember the precious days of our youth and continue to live on into tomorrow without stopping..." I'm truly grateful for this message. Thank you.

This heartfelt comment brought back unforgettable memories of my youth, and the passionate feelings of my youth began to shine once again.

Memories of youth, both joys and sorrows, are treasures.

I sincerely hope and pray that one day all of the junior high school students from that time will meet again at Sunflower Village, reminisce about their youthful memories, talk about their new youth to come, and make the sunflowers, the flowers of smiles, bloom once again.
