Third to fifth graders from Shinryu Elementary School go around the village
Third to fifth graders from Shinryu Elementary School took a tour of Sunflower Village.
The Hokuryu Junior High School "Sunflower Committee" is the main organizer of the cultivation.
24 varieties of "Sunflowers from around the World" cultivated, cared for and carefully nurtured by all 35 students at Hokuryu Junior High School (Principal Sakai Makoto).
A "Sunflower Committee" has been formed at Hokuryu Junior High School, and during the "integrated learning period" all students work seriously on growing the sunflowers, from sowing the seeds and weeding to volunteer guiding, and even cleaning up afterwards.
In this "Sunflower Guide of the World," all 35 students worked in pairs to carefully and clearly explain to the tourists visiting the area the names, origins, height, and characteristics of sunflowers, and also answered their various questions.
