Today, July 20th (Sat) at 10:00, the 38th Hokuryu Sunflower Festival and Hokuryu Sunflower Village opened for the month until August 18th (Sun). We hope to deliver energy and power from the sunflowers in full bloom to the approximately 300,000 tourists who visit over the course of the month.
At the Himawari Tourist Center, there are nine shops selling safe and secure gourmet food from Hokuryu Town, as well as handmade crafts! Please feel free to pick up a shop and get a feel for Hokuryu Town, and experience the "spirit of harmony and compassion" of the Hokuryu townspeople, and empathize with them.

Hokkaido Information University students and internship activities
Students from Hokkaido Information University are currently working as interns at Himawari no Sato in Hokuryu Town.
In addition to filming for the projection mapping, a survey was conducted among tourists regarding electronic payments. Based on the results of the survey, the students will propose electronic payments to Hokuryu Town.
