The Hokuryu Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry Women's Division set up flower pots and cleaned up the town with a spirit of hospitality!

On Wednesday, May 22nd, members of the women's division of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry set up flower pots along the road. This activity aims to beautify the road and revitalize the local area. This activity has been carried out in Hokuryu Town for over 20 years.

The flower seedlings were provided by the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau's Volunteer Support Program.

Planting flower seedlings with love

Cute flower pots were set up in over 10 locations along the roads, including in front of public facilities and shops in the town.

We filled the 43 planters and 10 round wooden barrel pots that had been prepared with fertilizer and soil, and then carefully and gently planted the flower seedlings that had been soaked in plenty of water.

The reliable and kind women from the Chamber of Commerce are planting the flowers!

The work progressed efficiently and steadily amidst friendly, lively conversation.

After everyone had finished planting flowers in the planters, everyone planted flowers in the flower bed in front of the entrance to the Kita Sorachi Shinkin Bank Kitaryu Branch.

A colorful and beautiful flower garden has been completed!!!
