Hokuryu Town Farmland and Water Activity Group Receives Hokkaido Industry Contribution Award [Hokuryu Town Website]

The Hokuryu Town Farmland and Water Activity Group (Representative: Akimitsu Takada) attended the Hokkaido Industry Contribution Award (for agricultural contributors) ceremony on February 13th, and reported their award to Mayor Sano on the 16th of the same month.

This award is in recognition of the organization's contributions to revitalizing the region and promoting agriculture and rural areas since its founding in 2007, including the conservation and management of farmland and waterways, and working with non-farming residents to plant sunflowers across the town as a symbol of town development.
