The Hokkaido Shimbun D Select website, run by the Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper (Sapporo), has published an article (dated February 13th) entitled "Local ski resorts struggling to survive make surprising investments, attracting foreign visitors to hidden gems <An analysis by Digital Committee member Funazaki>", which we would like to introduce to you.

The article was written by Masato Funazaki, Digital Committee Member, who is originally from Kitaryū Town in the Sorachi region. He joined the company in 1997 and has held positions in the Economic Department, the Tokyo News Center, and London before assuming his current position in March 2023.
