The Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper published an article titled "Spreading gratitude to Hokuryu online (Hokuryu Town community supporters Terauchi Noboru and Ikuko)" in the "Stories from People and Things" section of its evening edition (Hokkaido edition) on Monday, June 8th.

Reporter Tan Yano of the Hokkaido Shimbun Fukagawa branch interviewed the Terauchi couple about their feelings of gratitude towards Hokuryu Town, marking 10 years since they moved there.
