Countermeasures against COVID-19 [Hokuryu Town Disaster Prevention Radio] Town-sponsored meetings and events scaled down or postponed until Tuesday, May 6th

We will report on the content that was broadcast on Hokuryu Town's disaster prevention radio (broadcast to every household and speaker in Hokuryu Town) on Friday, April 17th at 7:15pm.

In response to the declaration of a state of emergency for all prefectures by the national government, Hokuryu Town will scale down or postpone town-sponsored meetings and events until Wednesday, the 6th of this month.

In addition, the community center, rural environment improvement center (gymnasium), library, local history museum, Hekisui Ikigai Center, Miba Beef Training Center, Food and Agriculture Workshop Palm Processing Center, tourist center, and the park golf course that was scheduled to open on Saturday, April 25th will also be closed until Wednesday, May 6th.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our residents, and we ask for your continued cooperation in preventing the spread of infection.

The Town Hall Resident Affairs Division would like to inform you that the Wa Community Support Center and the Hekisui Community Support Center will be suspending their activities.

In response to the declaration of a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 outbreak, both centers will be closed from Monday, April 20th to Wednesday, May 6th. Volunteer activities and Tanpopo Club programs will also be canceled.
