On Thursday, April 28th, starting at 8:00 a.m., the Yawara Neighborhood Association Senior Citizens Club in Kitaryū Town (Chairman Kanayama Nobuyuki) conducted a roadside trash cleanup (trash collection).
On the day, despite the strong winds that raged from the morning, which could blow you away, about 20 members participated. They picked up trash on the prefectural and town roads within the Wa neighborhood association area, working to beautify the roads.
Along Route 94 (Mashike Inada Line)
Each participant brought a garbage bag and collected trash, cans, pieces of wood, etc. that had fallen on the banks and irrigation channels. They worked along a road about 2km each way for about an hour round trip, and collected a full load of garbage bags in the back of a light truck.

After finishing the cleaning, everyone gathered together, and drinks and sweet breads were distributed as a token of appreciation before the event was dismissed.
Thank you everyone for your hard work!!!
With boundless love, gratitude, and prayers, we thank the neighborhood association for its proactive efforts to beautify the town's environment through cooperation among townspeople.
